Aerosonic Awarded $1.1 Million Order to Produce Altimeters for U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- March 9, 2006 -- Aerosonic Corporation (AMEX:AIM), a provider of precision flight products for commercial, business and military aircraft, announced today that the company has received a $1.1 million order from the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama.

This order by the U.S. Army for 259 altimeters initiates the first of four options on a multi-year contract awarded in August 2005 and valued at nearly five million dollars. Deliveries for this order are to begin late this year and continue into 2007.
