Avionics Calibration Technicians:This position primarily involves the calibration and testing of mechanical flight instruments such as altimeters, airspeed indicators, rate of climb indicators and cabin pressure instruments. The candidates for this position must have 2 or more years experience with calibration and testing of this class of avionics. Assembly experience of such units is also very helpful. Lean Champion:
Develop and continuously refine the Lean Enterprise implementation plan; initiate, maintain an effective 5S program; utilize DMAIC methods to close business performance gaps; provide needed oversight and training in the area of Lean Enterprise; identify cost reduction opportunities and long-term improvement opportunities; participate in RI strategic and annual planning processes.
Propose, plan for and manage Kaizen events. Minimum of five years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory and Lean implementation experience. Individual must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of Lean including but not limited to VSM, Voice of the Customer, kaizen leadership, one-piece flow, and 5S. Ability to learn new concepts and effectively pass this knowledge on to others through classroom training or the design of practical experiences and exercises. Individual must possess a detail orientation, be able to work effectively as an individual contributor and possess solid interpersonal relationship and communications skills.
