Aerosonic is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Customer Support Specialist. Under minimum supervision this person performs clerical and technical work related to the repair processes. This position is responsible for administrative duties such as writing correspondence, coordinating and tracking paperwork for evaluation of repairs, filing reports, and data entry. It involves extensive internal / external contact. Candidates must be able to interact with other departments, including Contracts, Customer Service, Machine Shop, Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, & Shipping & Receiving. Strong ethical and professional behavior required.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Receives items sent in for repair from customer in Shipping & Receiving.
Gathers invoicing and receiving data.
Tags Units.
Enters data into computer, MRP System.
Create and maintain status reports for Repair Supervisor and Customers.
Create job packages for repairs.
Starts and tracks repair paperwork.
Enters incoming evaluation and parts requirements into system.
Put list of parts required in job package.
Distributes/routes paperwork to other departments.
Coordinate repair kit with unit for repair.
Delivers to repair technician.
Responds to customer calls, gets answers, and brings closure with customer regarding status of repairs.

Requirements A High School Diploma is required. Requires three to five years experience in all phase of responsible administrative and clerical duties, including prior customer service experience. Must be computer literate and have Microsoft Excel experience.
